Private speaking coaching

Let's make your speaking as good as your ideas.

For women who already have something to say and want to get a whole lot better at saying it in front of other people.

I'll never tell you to just picture your audience in their undies.

I mean, if that works for you, go for it.

But what I will do is help you become the kind of speaker people want to keep watching.

We'll work on the stuff that makes a talk come alive: presence, personality, storytelling, humor, pacing, delivery, audience connection, and that hard-to-define thing that makes someone magnetic when they walk into a room.

Because knowing your material is one thing. Knowing how to make it land is another.

My job is to help you find the moments that make people lean in, the stories they'll remember, the laugh that breaks the tension, the pause that gives an idea room to hit—and the confidence to trust yourself enough to let all of that happen.

And we're not going to turn you into someone else's version of a great speaker. We're going to figure out what makes you compelling and turn the volume up.

I'll bring the mic...

You bring the raw material.

A keynote you've been asked to give. A conference talk you're building. A presentation that suddenly has a lot more eyes on it than you expected. A panel where you want to sound like yourself instead of a human press release.

Or maybe you speak all the time and you're ready to take it up a level or need to lose some of the polish that's making you a little dull and unleash your real authentic voice and personality.

Don't have a specific talk you're working on?

No problem. We can work on your communication and presence so you feel more confident to go after speaking opportunities and ready when you book them.

This is where my unusual mash up of experience comes in handy.

My obsession with stages began as a kid and I've been making a scene every since. From national tours and commercials, to conferences, summits, workshops, galas and more, I feel most at home in front of an audience.

So I tend to see things from a few different angles. My background as a professional actor means I'm paying attention to things like voice, physicality, pacing, energy, humor, presence, and how you're connecting with the room — not just whether you got all the words right.

And because I've spent years speaking, facilitating, running businesses, and building communities, I'm also thinking about the bigger picture:

What are you trying to accomplish with this talk? Who is in the room? What do you want them to think, feel, or do?

And here's my dirty secret

Sometimes I still get nervous before I go onstage.

I don't think you're ever completely done with that part. At least I'm not.

There's always that little moment before you walk onstage when your inner asshole starts loudly ask you unhelpful questions like:
Will I remember what I want to say? Will this land? What if I bomb?

The trick isn't getting rid of that feeling. It's knowing how to move through it without letting it run the show.

And that is part of what makes me a really fucking good coach. I know what it feels like to be the person standing there, heart beating a little faster, mouth going a little dry, trying to remember that you actually know what you're doing and trusting that you won't suck when you start talking,

So no, I'm not going to promise you'll never be nervous.

I'm going to help you get good enough at this that you can be nervous and still absolutely own the room.
