The Rooftop Session
You have something worth shouting from the rooftop. It's time to find it and get it into the world.
Your words, your stories, your unapologetic point of view.
You've been lying to yourself.
I'm calling bullshit.
My guess is you have a lot inside of you. Stories. Ideas. Experience. Opinions. Things you've been thinking about for years but haven't quite figured out how to turn into something you can actually say. Or you've been a little afraid to really let you true voice loose because, God forbid, someone doesn't like it.
So you do what we're all told to do: start with the strategy.
What's the content plan? What's the platform? Should I start a podcast? What should I post? What's my personal brand? How do I get more people to see me? Who's my ideal client? What's their story? Their pain points?
You use AI to write your content and wonder why it sounds like everyone else's lame-ass crap. You watch other people who are far less dazzling than you take up space and think "Why can they do this and I can't?"
And I don't want to help you become more visible before we've figured out what you're actually trying to make people see.
So let's head up to The Rooftop.
This is where we dig into your stories, ideas, experiences, and point of view. We find the threads worth following, figure out what's actually interesting and uniquely you, and turn all that raw material into something you can say...and keep saying.
Then we can worry about where it goes.
But here's the problem:
- Annika, Therapist & Workshop leader
We go back to the beginning and get into your origin, the moment everything shifted, the experiences that shaped your point of view. The raw material nobody else has.
We find the words that actually sound like you. Not the polished, palatable, professional version you keep playing at. The real one you keep swallowing.
We turn all of it into language you can actually use and own. On stages, on your website, a podcast, a keynote, Substack or just writing an IG caption that doesn't make you want to set your phone on fire.
The Rooftop Session is built around my signature Rooftop Method™ — a five step process that takes you from knowing your superpowers to owning your stories, finding your words, claiming your point of view, and finally taking your stage.
Stop performing a version of yourself that bores you
Own the stories that make you different instead of hiding them to seem more "professional"
Attract fans, customers and clients who are a perfect fit
Show up on whatever stage is yours and make the right people think "where the Fuck has she been hiding?"
- Jenn, Author & Executive coach
We'll have a quick call to talk about what you're working on, what you're trying to figure out, and whether the Rooftop is the right fit.
We spend five hours together, with breaks, digging into your stories, your experiences, your ideas, your message, and the thing you've been trying to say for years. This is where we follow the threads, make connections, find the good stuff, and start putting words to what you actually want to say.
Within two business days, I'll send you a written summary of your key messages, stories, and point of view, along with my thoughts on where we could take them next. Maybe it's a killer email series. Maybe it's the podcast you've been meaning to start. Maybe it's the talk you've been circling for years.
You'll also get 30 days of Voxer support so you don't lose the momentum once we're done.
And generally had very little concern about whether I was being too much.
Then I got older. And, little by little, I started editing myself. The stories got tidier, the opinions got softer, the weird, messy, interesting parts got tucked away because being liked felt safer than taking up too much space. And of course, the Patriarchy doesn't help much.
But it was all a little ironic, considering I have a musical theater degree and more than 20 years of professional acting, speaking, and entrepreneurial experience.
Then I became a mom and found myself telling my daughters to be confident, creative, loud, curious, and fully themselves while simultaneously doing a much quieter version of the opposite in my own business.
I started reclaiming the stories I'd edited out, the opinions I'd softened, and the parts of myself I'd decided were maybe a little too much. And not only was it liberating AF, it worked.
My business changed, my voice strengthened, my confidence expanded and I'm even writing a book about it (something I said I'd never do).
And along the way, I realized how many women are doing some version of the same thing. Not because they have nothing to say. Because they've spent years learning how to make themselves easier to digest.
And out of my own messy journey, I created The Rooftop.
Because I don't think the answer is to polish you into some perfectly packaged personal brand that ChatGPT would approve of. I know there's something much more interesting underneath all that editing.
Let's go find it - so you can shout it.
+ Walk away with your origin story — the one that makes people stop scrolling, lean in, and think "She's talking about me."
+ Have clarity on where to share your message in a way that feels authentic and aligned, not forced or performative
+ Have content angles, talk topics, and podcast pitches that come directly from your actual life
+ Know what you stand for — and finally stop apologizing for it
+ Show up louder, clearer, and more like yourself than you have in years

Sure will! In fact, this is designed for you. You don't need to walk in with a polished story or a clear message — that's what we build together. Most of the women I work with think they have nothing interesting to say right up until the moment they realize they've been sitting on gold. You're probably one of them.
A copywriter writes your story for you. The Rooftop Session helps you find it yourself — in your own words, your own voice, your own specific way of seeing the world. The difference is that after a Rooftop Session you know what to say and why it matters. A copywriter gives you something to publish. This gives you something to own.
That's my job. I've spent 20 years getting performances out of people — I know how to ask the right questions, follow the thread, and pull the good stuff out when it feels stuck. You don't need to show up prepared. You just need to show up.
Ha. No. We might go a little deep — your stories and your business are connected and we're not pretending otherwise. But this is a business session focused on your voice, your message, and how to use both. If something bigger comes up, I'll lovingly point you in the right direction.
Yes — actually the earlier the better. Getting clear on your voice and message before you build everything else means you're building on the right foundation from the start. You don't need an established business to know what you stand for.
Not necessarily. A stage is anywhere your voice reaches people — a podcast, your website, a newsletter, a live event, a community, a sales call, a networking room. The Rooftop Session is about finding the words that are yours and getting ideas on the best way to get them out into the world. You don't need to want a literal stage to need this work.
Everything we work on during our session plus within 2 business days you get a written summary of your key messages, stories, and point of view — plus my initial thoughts on where to take it next. Think: this would make a killer email sequence, this is your podcast pitch angle, this is the talk you were born to give. Plus 30 days of Voxer support so nothing gets lost after the session.
The Rooftop Session isn't a done-for-you writing service. I'm here to help you find your voice and while we will take a crapload of notes and write out ideas, we won't write a full talk. That said, depending on your needs and the project, custom writing support might be something we can explore after the session. Reach out and let's talk.
Not really. I've worked with therapists, coaches, consultants, creatives, service providers, product-based businesses, and everything in between. What matters is that you have something to say and you're ready to say it. If you're not sure whether this is a fit for your specific business, book a quick call and we'll figure it out together.
